Leadership Positions

If you are an ANA-MAINE member and interested in shaping the direction of Maine’s voice for professional nursing, get involved in one of ANA-MAINE ’s leadership positions and committees. Elected positions are voted upon on in a mail-in ballot during the Fall of each year and announced at the ANA-MAINE Annual Business Meeting. All positions are elected for a 2-year term unless otherwise noted.

The following leadership positions are typically elected in odd numbered years:

President First Vice President Treasurer Director-at-Large (3 positions) ANA-MAINE Representative to the ANA House of Delegates (3 positions) ANA-MAINE Representative to the ANA Center for American Nurses (2 positions) Nominations Committee (1-3 positions, as needed) Alternate ANA-MAINE Representative to the ANA HOD (1-4 positions, as needed) Alternate ANA-MAINE Representative to the ANA Center for American Nurses (1-4 positions, as needed)

The following leadership positions are typically elected in even numbered years:

Second Vice President Secretary Director-at-Large (3 positions) ANA-MAINE Representative to the ANA House of Delegates (if needed) Nominations Committee (1-4 positions, as needed) Alternate ANA-MAINE Representative to the ANA HOD (1-4 positions, as needed) Alternate ANA-MAINE Representative to the ANA Center for American Nurses (1-4 positions, as needed)
